Product Description
HyperLadder™ 1kb is a molecular weight marker composed of a restriction digest plus one or more PCR products, specifically designed for easy size determination of linear double-stranded DNA fragments on 1% to 2% TAE or TBE agarose gels.
The marker contains 14 regularly spaced bands ranging from 200 bp to 10,037 bp. Higher-intensity reference bands at 1000 bp and 10,037 bp, together with a doublet at 1500/1517 bp, provide convenient orientation and rapid identification of DNA fragments.
The ready-to-use format reduces handling steps and saves time. Simply transfer HyperLadder™ 1kb from the vial to the gel.
The approximate DNA mass contained in each band can optionally be used to estimate the approximate mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.
HyperLadder™ 1kb is supplied with a 5× sample loading buffer for loading sample DNA.

Storage & Stability
All components are shipped at room temperature or on dry/blue ice and should be stored at -20°C upon receipt for optimum stability.
Repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided. When stored under the recommended conditions and handled correctly, full activity of the reagents is retained until the expiry date on the outer box label.
Components may also be stored at +4°C or room temperature if required, although storage at -20°C is always recommended.
When stored at +4°C, reagents remain stable for up to 12 months. When stored at room temperature, reagents remain stable for 6 months from the date of receipt.
